Cabañas Caballieri are located in Pisco Elqui in the Valle de Elqui (Elqui Valley). From Santiago (abt. 600 kms) you take "Ruta 5" (Panamericana Highway) northbound up to La Serena (Airplane & buses also available).
From La Serena you drive approx. 100 km east to Pisco Elqui.

From Santiago, follow "Ruta 5" (Panamericana Highway) up to La Serena.(465 klms). From La Serena you take the "Ruta
41" (follow signs) in direction of the airport and the Valle de Elqui.
"Ruta 41" passes Vicuña and takes you to the village of Rivadavia. Right after Puente Rivadavia
(bridge) you have to make a right
turn(there is a big sign) towards Paihuano, Montegrande, Pisco Elqui.
This road will take you directly to Pisco Elqui.
There are also buses and colectivos (shared taxis) from La Serena. The
colectivos take you to Vicuña, from there you have to continue by bus. The bus
takes aprox. 2,5 hrs. from La Serena. Taking the
colectivo up to Vicuña takes aprx. 1hr.
When arriving Pisco Elqui you will be at the Plaza (with a church). Turn right immediately after the Plaza. After aprox 150 meters, there is a dead end; turn left (Calle Prat). That is the road towards Horcon and Alcohuaz. We are located on this road - at a distance of 1.700 meters from the Plaza, at the right side.
